Is this a sign of getting old?
Over the past 12 months, I figure I've spent about $50-75 extra bucks on shampoo. I continually forget it in the shower at the pool, and of course it's never there when I go back the next day.

That's all. Carry on.

Think most of us have left shampoos, swim gear, paddles and god knows what behind at the pool or locker room
We are all getting older!

Get a buzz cut and you won't need the shampoo or the swim cap.

Yep , definitely.

I buy the travel size ones and just refill them at home.

hair's already pretty short, I don't technically need a cap. Need to wash the chlorine off though, or else I get really itchy skin...

Totally!!! :) I used to get these obscenely early shows on the road and would regularly come back home without the shampoo, left at the hotel, just to be chewed by my wife. She was tired of me loosing the hole bottle so she would pack these tiny 5oz bottles that I kept loosing.......yep sleep deprivation and getting old. LOL

Your grandad's full head of hair is not the impressive part of that sentence :)

No. Its a sign of getting old when you wash your head with bar soap, especially if you just use the little bars provided by the gym.

And I bet he can remember his shampoo at the gym. Stop making excuses, old fart.

My gym provides shampoo and body wash. If they didn't I no doubt would forget it all the time, or have the bottle cap open up in my bag.

On the same theme...I probably lose my locker lock once every 3 months at the gym/pool. Starting to get bright color locks in hopes to find them in the lost and found, but alas only has worked once.

I'm afraid someone has "tainted" the shampoo and body wash. Doesn't stop me from using it though. Does that make me weird?

My swim buddy is 10 years younger than me and leaves his razor and shave cream at least once a week. I pick it up for him when I go back to run at lunch. I have recruited others to cover for me when I am out of town.

I write my name with big letters on everything so it has a good chance of finding its way back to me.

Had a similar moment last week. My wife asked me about 4 in the afternoon -

Wife - Did you eat cereal for breakfast?
Me - Yes, why?
Wife - Full gallon of milk is in the cereal cabinet.....

I can't even blame the kids. The only child home that day was 5 yrs old and the cereal cabinet is above the stove. Apparently I need to finish coffee before making my breakfast.

My wife has now filled the cereal cabinet so there is not room for a gallon of milk. She informed me this was done intentionally so she wouldn't have to get milk 3 times a week.

Wait a sec...no shampoo with a buzz cut? I've been doing it all wrong.

If you buy your All in One Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap at the Dollar store you won't have to spend so much when you lose it. And don't believe that fancy expensive soap is really any better.

This. You know when you're getting old because a) you've gone bald and b) don't really care about it either.

This! I bought a large bottle of Smurfs Bubble Gum scented 3-1 Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap for cheap at Target. Once that's finished, I'm going to start purchasing Dr. Woods Castille Soap from Amazon. Its cheap, lasts forever and its all natural, blah blah blah. Also works as a 3-1, and does the dishes, laundry and cleans the floors.
