I know it is sold out but it appears there is one last chance on December 6th. Can anyone confirm this and explains how it works?

And after that another 20 slots became available yesterday due to double allocations of the pre-Christmas entries.
On a whim I decided to mail the organization and today I received confirmation I'm in for 2015. Lady luck shone my way and I accept the challenge.
