Does anyone use them? If so how do you incorporate in your planning?

Yes!
The creator posts here quite a bit, it is really neat stuff.

I used it primarily to come up with pacing plans, which is especially useful for courses that are hilly. Basically to come up with a plan for how hard to go up and down any key climbs, vs how hard to go on the flats.

It can help you make equipment decisions too. Light s Aero, what yaw angles are you likely to see on course, etc

I did a little review of them here:

+1. I find that it's been very accurate so long as the wind conditions don't shift significantly. What good is that ideally, for long course, you use TSS as a limiter. So you pacing will factor in duration. So the flatter/faster course will call for higher IF than a hilly or windy course. What you can also see, is that wind direction that result in low yaw, impact you less than high yaw. Light, low yaw wind can even be slightly faster than no wind at all.

I have looked at this to know where to go harder and where to let up. What would be REALLY cool is if you could download your "race plan" to your Garmin and use that with their virtual racer. It could tell you your target power vs actual power. Could also include a turn-by-turn type navigation.

Current power = 208 watts
Target power = 210 watts
5 minute 250 watt surge approaching in 0.5 miles

You can just follow the power plan like you're on the trainer. Triathletes would love it! (not sure if this should be pink or not)

I think it is a bit of a ridiculous thing to do though, the cheat sheet is much more practical, and you can memorize it and be immune to technology failures

After taking a few years off I love all the data. Being that this is a local company to me makes it even better. Now I just need to get the engine built

Dang it my coupon expired 2 weeks ago. Good news is that I have extra $$ for Christmas as I can push this off till next year since there is no sense of urgency.

Hey I've been on a slowtwitch hiatus for a couple weeks but it looks like you got some of your questions answered :). We have some plans to help with those shifty wind conditions. Hoping to add quite a few updates and features before next season kicks off!

I did it at syracuse, was injured so had no plans to be able to stick to it but figured since the race was screwed anyway try it. The only negative side I found in this test was as my power went down and down as my knee gave out I just got more and more annoyed. There were a few places where there may have been too much info, like multiple suggested targets within say a quarter to half mile. As long as you've reviewed it a head of time like you would a cheat sheet you can in theory just ignore it or modify it on the fly.

Ignoring the injury part I think it worked well but yeah it is a little ridiculous which is also partially why I liked if I had to guess. There is also no reason why you can't use the cheat sheet and this.

Yeah working on updating so you can choose a target number of intervals that will narrow it down to just those (weighted average as appropriate). I think that will help quite a bit. So you can say break it down to 15 to 20 as opposed to say 150 for a full. We are looking at bringing on another developer which should help speed some of these features up quite a bit.
