Tapering.....

Heading into the last week of taper before race week, and I have waaayyy too much energy. Couldn't sleep last night, was bouncing off the walls, so I started doing pushups at midnight. Did 30 of 'em before I realized that 1) I'm tapering, and 2) I haven't had any desire to do a pushup in about 10 years....

Then proceeded to eat everything in the fridge.

Did I just blow my taper?

Yea you screwed up...Id look to see if its too late to transfer your entry slot and pick a race thats a week later

Its a swim meet so he can sleep between races :)

I am on the crash taper this week. Hoping to hold form for 7 days of races.

You're gonna have a tough day on Saturday with the 400 / 3000 double. Ouch....
