Competitor Radio is fantastic. I enjoy Lijins of Triathlon as well. Sounds like IM Talk should go on the list. Training Bible Podcast has really useful stuff, but Adam isn't always as funny as he may think he is.

In addition to what everyone else had said, I also like The Age Grouper, although they have been less frequent over the last year or two

Zen Triathlon (as mentioned many times above) and The Rich Roll podcast: http://www.richroll.com/category/podcast/

The Rich Roll podcast is most def not all tri talk, but he's had a number of pros on the show, including Macca. In my opinion, the RR podcast is the best podcast of any kind available today. Very broad scope but extremely interesting in my opinion.

By the way, if you don't dig some of the subject matter/themes of most of RR's podcasts, I would HIGHLY recommend just selecting the handful of podcasts featuring interviews with the pros. They are very long and very in-depth: Macca, Hillary Biscay, Ronnie Schildknecht, Terrenzo Bozone (sp?), etc.

I'm telling you these interviews are not like the others. You will be sucked in and two hours will be gone. They just flow, so naturally.

He's also had endurance running guys, MMA fighters, etc. Cool to get in their heads and hear their stories.

My fave from the pro tri guys would be the interview with Ronnie S. Amazing to hear his story about beginning tri, his mindset, etc.

I should give Rich Roll's stuff a listen. For some reason he is often hard for me to tolerate when he is a guest on other podcasts (no offense to guys like Texafornia who seem have him on a lot). Part of it is his voice, not sure what the rest of it is. Getting Rich Roll'd is almost as bad as getting Rick roll'd. You click on some podcast thinking "oh, this might be interesting" and then BAM - Rich Roll is the guest.

I appreciate good interviews. I'll give a listen.

If you all enjoy any of these podcasts and want them to stay around you should consider donating to the campaign to Fight the Patent Trolls who are beginning to litigate podcast patents and threatening to sue podcasts out of existence. Check it out here:

This isn't an advert, just a PSA about a very real threat. A world without podcasts would suck!

Rich Roll -offers much more than endurance sports; most intelligent.
Zen and the Art of Triathlon- very entertaining; Brett is engaging and bares his personal life (a bit light on science/diet though that is easy to look past for his enthusiasm).
Burned out on Ben Greenfield- he's gone over the line with hucksterism in my opinion.

Bit of a hijack here but endurance planet hour podcast used to be my favorite pre greenfield and prazack days (no offense intended).
Anyone know what the host, Kevin Patrick, is up to?

Over the past 4 years I've tried many different tri podcasts, but eventually stopped listening to all of those and only listen to Endurance Planet with one caveat - every time there is Nutrition or Doctor episode i hit the "skip" button.

Other than that my favorite podcasts are not triathlon related
- RadioLab
- Freakonomics
- Planet Money

Plus I love listening to books I buy on Audible, including "Iron War" and other books.

Well, I won't lay claim to best or anything like that, but I'm pretty proud of the guest lineup we've had on our recent upstart show Ironman Year One. It's not for you KQ guys, it's a show for the back of the pack. 27 episodes so far. We're actually soliciting input from FOP people to explain "fast people problems" (like first world problems) to the rest of us. http://Www.imyearone.com - also on stitcher and iTunes.

So true on Greenfield. I like the guy, but "hucksterism" is appropriate.
