enve 3.4 vs zipp 404fc climbing

How much better will the enves 3.4 climb vs the 404fc? Looking at IMLP hills. Currently have 404fc but looking at enves 3.4 power tap

That sounds like a tremendous waste of money. Do you need a power meter? save your money by keeping the 404s and buy a power meter if you need it

I looked up the difference in weight and the clinchers are only about a 120-130 gram difference. I just can't see how the ENVEs would make much if any difference.

If you want a wheel improvement get a disc and run it with your 404 front. Or get a powermeter. Or get both. Wheel weight, and bike weight, in general, do not matter on the majority of triathlon courses. You'd have to have a mountain top finish with no downhills for it to matter even a little over aero improvements. LP and IM length go as aero as possible. For IM getting your gearing matched to your riding ability also ranks right up there with aero.
