I use my 1080when it's a perfect day and my 404 in crosswinds......works like a charm.

Went out today with both of my 404's on my R3, crazy winds....... Love them and love the tubulars......
I have both 404 firecrests and ENVE 6.7s. The 404 is good in a cross wind, the 6.7s are like magic. Drink the Kool-Aid.
