Yay. No more crack pipe!
Just replaced my pump head with a filzer flip head, and it fits in the valve opening for my trispokes. Inflated the tyre to 110 psi, no problems at all.

Just putting this out there as a PSA. Put away the crack pipe.

What about the valve-locking lever? According to the picture, do you simply leave it in the same position as is in the photograph?

Filling my Hed tri-spokes would indeed be easier if this is true. Do you have to buy a new pump or screw this end somehow on to your current floor pump?

I left it unlocked. There's enough wiggle room in the stem that you could lock it, I think (I'd have to go downstairs and check, but it's the middle of the night here. I fell asleep on the couch right after I put the toddler to bed at 7:15 and woke up at 12:30.).

It replaced the old hose, I have an old Beto that works fine, if a little beat up. Bonus is that the new hose is about a foot longer than the old one.

Why?

A) I'm 200 lbs
B) they're 23mm
C) I was just testing the pump.

I won't be riding that wheel for another 4 months.

i have never used a crack pipe on an H3.....just used standard blackburn pipe. valve comes out of wheel at a slight angle already, so very easy to get pump head on, lock and inflate.

i do run close to 110 in my h3, after all using 20mm tires on it :)

I used to TT these at 150psi, so at least I'm learning.
