Wireless headphones

I'm wondering if you can help me find a product that I'm not sure even exists.

What I'd like, is to be able to use my headphones with my tv wirelessly (while I'm on the trainer). I'm thinking that there would be a box that plugs into the headphone jack on the tv, and then a receiver that I'd plug my headphones into.

Then I could happily watch/listen to tv while riding my bike without annoying the rest of the house with my super loud program.

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Yes, you need a bluetooth transmitter. I have a couple of these from Amazon, and they work fine:

It just plugs into your TV (or cable box or bluray player or whatever else) and transmits the audio via bluetooth.

x2 on that transmitter as long as you have a bluetooth headphones.
If not, you can find plenty for cheap on Amazon. I have been using these for over a year and been working great:

Works with your phone and that transmitter.

Thanks everyone. I have a pair of headphones that I use on the trainer that aren't bluetooth (they've taken a lot of abuse and are still going strong). I was hoping to find a product that would have a transmitter and a receiver paired together, but it looks like the easier option will be to buy a transmitter and a new pair of bluetooth headphones to use.

or maybe just convince the wife that we need a new tv :)

Thanks for posting the question, I've been trying to figure this out myself. The problem is my TV (new, digital TV) doesn't have a simple earphone jack. It's got the red and white RCA plugs. I tried a couple of different RCA to headphone adapters and couldn't get any sound out.

Then I realized my TIVO box has a headphone jack that works. So I'll try the Bluetooth setup as well.

Thanks, ST for the idea.

Buy a $15 fm transmitter @ walmart along with a $15 digital fm radio. Old school but reliable.
