I drink it all the time - the freshly juiced variety - at my local cafe. It is great with carrot.

Aren't watermelons something like 90% water? I would imagine the juice to be rather tasteless. I can imagine someone trying to market dried watermelon, next to wth dried apples and apricots. Ratio of 500 watermelons to 5 oz of product probably wouldn't be profitable!

It juices with lots of pulp and tastes just like watermelon. It's popular in much of Asia, and is made fresh, by hand.

There is a company starting to sell it bottled in the US and I'm curious if anyone has seen it in a store or tried it.

Watermelon juice is extremely rich in several nutrients and is especially helpful when you are tired. It is particularly useful when say you are tired from an intense workout. Besides this it helps in maintaining a healthy blood pressure and is helpful in losing weight and detoxification of kidneys.

My source for this: Watermelon Juice Benefits

Typical blather rife with errors. I won't bother to enumerate them, but sheesh...amino acids? magnesium and potassium? Yeah...no.

Magic watermelon juice. What next?

Its sugar water FFS.

Hey Tom,

Maybe you didn't like the article which I provided, maybe you don't agree with the benefits that it talks of, but what I don't understand is your unreasonable language in the reply.

Please be mindful of that.

Thanks!

Don't know much about watermelon juice, but I can say for years I would eat massive amounts of watermelon as my pre-race nutrition before 5k's and 10k's.

I could eat it up to race start and have no gastro issues, presumably since it's just sugar and water.

On my daily menu whenever I'm in Southeast Asia. Great refreshing and that's the only thing matters to me then.
