There is so much wrong with that system I don't know where to begin. I love Simon and think he is the bomb, but if anyone but Clara doesn't have the flag, I will be disgusted. But if the horsie rider gets it, I'll burn my Canada Hockey jerseys in protest. ;)

Has Clara ever been a flag bearer? If not, Simon has a fight on his hands to win against her. She is arguably Canada's best athlete and a great ambassador for sport (also a fantastic spokesperson for mental disease). Simon is amazing too. Great character and appears to be a very proud Canadian.

Surely you guys realize this silly poll has no bearing on who will be chosen to carry the actual flag.
Anyway, I voted for SimonW but in the final I will have to support Clara Hughes. She is fantabulous.
