is it possible to splice these SW R671 http://www.ebay.com/...;hash=item540498506e

into this junction box SM-EW67A http://www.ebay.com/...;hash=item258a2fb7fa

I am looking to have my S5 serve dual purpose and I could just unplug 1 wire remove road bar and add tt bar and voila. just not sure if it is possible?

Yes. You just need a JC-41 junction box (usually the rear junction) to act as the intermediate. Don't forget to plug the remaining port on the junction.

For more details, see the write up on did on my build

I had the EW-67 taped down to the bottom bracket, ran one short cable to a first JC-41 located inside the downtube. This JC-41 is connected to another JC-41 located inside the stem (see pic), which connects to the shifters.

thanks. but would it not be possible to just split the wires and solder them together and heat shrink?

yeah sure; you can definitely do that. i don't have experience with splicing and didn't want to mess up anything.

Why not use and SM-EW90B (5 port plug) up in the cock pit? I use one and plug in base bar shifters, extensions and the main cable loom.
