US Indoor Track & Field Championship: Masters Men's 1500

Impressive running. John Trautmann is a beast - he recently ran a 4:13 mile (WR in 45-49 AG). The guy who came in 7th in this race (4:12), Anselm Lebourne is also a stud (relative to age, of course). Profiled here: http://www.runnersworld.com/...ns-a-437-indoor-mile

Link to race: http://www.usatf.tv/gprofile.php?mgroup_id=45365&do=videos&video_id=135997

Not sure if the USATF link is accessible outside the US. Apologies to non-US viewers if it isn't.

He really is remarkably impressive. What's the age for that USATF Masters championship race? 40+, 35+? Some of those guys clearly are not 45-49.

I think the USATF masters championships start in the 30+ category - but conventional reference to "masters" in running is really 40+. The link to the race was a masters invitational as an exhibition event in the overall indoor championship in Boston, some great elite races there as well. The masters (just masters) championship is coming up in North Carolina. A lot of these fast guys will probably be there too.
