Based on the Instagram pictures it is Cleveland. Now I know what my goal for the season will be, would love to race nationals in my hometown!

I was thinking the same thing. Another Midwest venue is a disappointment. But I realize any location is going to make some happy and others less so.

In Boston, the Emerald Necklace is a park system designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted. Evidently, there is a second (less famous) one in Cleveland.

Edit: It would be cool to have Nationals on Boston's Emerald Neckalce. I can't see swimming in the Charles River or Jamaica Pond, though, let alone the Muddy River :-)

Cleveland for sure. I have it straight from the horse's mouth, the race director. Cleveland starting in 2018 for three years.

Probably at least 10 years. Unless you count the un-official national championship - American Zofingen.

Seems to always be in the West.

Underrated town - your kidding - its a sh-t hole, but its driveable, so I might show up if it doesn't conflict with another race.

In fairness, you don't know how low the "Mistake by the Lake" is rated around here!
