Trouble with Hoka insoles
I'm using Hoka's for the first time this week and I noticed that they come with insoles (two). I put the standard one in (not ortholite). But during the run the insoles pushes back so the back of it rides up the heel part of the shoe (my toes aren't touching the insole). Its very annoying. Anyway to make this stay in its place when running. Should I try the ortho lite one?

I noticed the insoles that came with my Cliftons had a dab of glue on the bottom. I suppose that's an option, a dab of silicone. I'm not sure which I ended up using, but I didn't have any issues. I would also suspect that the shoe isn't fitting tight enough in the heel cup and allowing your foot to move. That would be my primary concern.... that your foot is able to move. Too small? not the right shoe/fit for your foot? Too loose?

Mine didn't have any glue. The shoes fit and feel great. Maybe try both insoles for a more snug fit?

That is the purpose of the twin insoles. Stacking them gives you a lift 'lowering' the shoe upper onto the foot making the fit more snug.

If the stock insole is sliding you could use a strip of double sided sellotape to hold it in place without creating a hotspot under the foot.

My recently purchased Cliftons did the same thing. I switched out the insole to the other one and it works fine. I really enjoy the show and am glad that the smaller insole works. Clearly Hoka has a design flaw that needs to be ironed out.
