Tri tattoos (good ones)
I am thinking of getting a tri tattoo. When I do my first Ironman and finish I will get an M dot. But I was thinking of getting the swim bike run symbols on my ribs.

Like this stores logo but in black oblique to armpit.

Anyone seem some cool tri tattoos other than M dot

As long as you like it that should be all that matters.

Not exactly a tri tattoo, but I'm glad I got it. Most people do not even think it is a tattoo - just some grease (sorry about the stubble - but my season is over....)

I have "140.6" with swim/bike/run characters on my right rib cage.

Just as a word of caution - do you have any idea how frick'n painful rib tattoos are? Seriously, I have about 6 tattoos and most were annoyingly unpleasant with some hitting some sensitive spots. However, that rib tattoo was 75 of the most painful minutes of my life. It was absolutely brutal.

I have similar swim/bike/run figures in black plus a green pine tree (for cda) cross an m-dot. Get something you like and is meaningful to you. I was anti-mdot tattoo until doing my first almost exactly 20 yrs after being diagnosed with cancer. It took on more meaning when I realized the dates.

You could just get douchebag tatooed across your back, in that gangster script;)

Why would anyone want a triathlon tatoo, much less the WTC corporate logo?

Yeah I have 8. Inner bicep didn't really hurt more annoying than anything and many have said that hurts. I expect it to be painful. How big is yours?

Or I could learn to spell tattoo especially when it is spelled correctly in the title of the thread.

Ha, I only do funny and cool tattoos. You should see the LaCoste crocodile on my chest (now if I posted that pic as a response, that would be kinda ga).

Luckily, my tattoo guy is also a bike guy, so he knew exactly what I wanted with the chain ring (and had the same idea for the tat about a week earlier).

Not too big. About 6 inches across and about 4 inches tall. I think the "140.6" is about 70 pt Times New Roman. What made it worse is that it is all black and has a good amount of fill. My artist wanted to make sure it was really dark. I think he used the outliner needle (the real fine, real deep needle) for the entire piece. That little bugger hurts like hell.
