Looks like a new Triathlon event starting up in the UK called TriSUP. The swim leg has been replaced with Stand Up Paddle board. Wonder if it will make it over to North America as I would be willing to try something new.

Des Moines, IA has the "Des Moines Adventure Race" that starts with kayak, then cycling, then running.
