Was I the only one expecting some sort of list including the likes of Gerrans, Martin, and Cancellara?

My three cups of morning coffee at work will not be the same until next year. Sigh.

I haven't gotten too deep into the withdrawal yet since there is still plenty of media coverage. The teams are all still posting recaps and such on their social media pages, etc. In about a week that will all die down and then the withdrawal will start in earnest.

Thanks for doing this. The daily thread worked 1000% better than the single thread for the Giro. You even forgot to put "spoiler" in the title for a few days and everyone was OK with it.

Can you do this for the Vuelta and Giro next year? Single threads don't create enough excitement.

I want a thread to analyze Valverde's blood numbers though.

wtf? glad it's over. much more interesting racing for the rest of the year. San Sebastian, Eneco, Vuelta, etc. And don't forget the World Championship

i consider it unseemly for you to deign to the cater to the interests of the uninitiated

I just bought a new TV. I got precisely 2 stages of glorious HD feed before I had to bow the inevitable lull until the Vuelta with only the Classica San Sebastian to soothe my withdrawal symptoms.

I really enjoy following the Tour, but when it's over, I'm kinda glad it is. All of the sudden, I have much more time to do things and I don't have to watch the same stupid commercials over and over again (Direct TV don't give you goats...).

Thanks for posting the daily thread, I really enjoyed it. The daily format worked really well.

Most years I suffer through some pretty good withdrawal. This year not so much. Didn't even watch yesterday's stage. I suppose I'll get around to watching the final few laps eventually but I'm not certain.

Did anyone else notice that the Bacardi Limon commercial with all the girls in bikinis and guys in board shorts seemed to get cropped right around the Pyrenees? There were two shots early on (where the girl in the black bikini splashes out of the water in slow motion and then they one in the greenish blue turns away from the camera) where it looked like they cropped the bottom out (no pun intended) after the first rest day.

^^^ More of a withdrawal from watching bike racing than the snoozer of a Tour.

I withdrew from watching after Stage 10. I just couldn't get into it after that.

I'm more concerned about not learning about all the new cycling celebrity couple nicknames from Phil Liggett, like Richie Froome or JC Bardet.

The withdraw method is not very effective and you'll likely end up with little bike races

I loved how Chris Froome pretended he couldn't hang with Quintana on the Stage 20 climb.

Jens Voigt was a great commentator.

Almost everything Christian Vande Velde said included a dumb cliché.

I can't wait until next year!
