Touching up frame etc
Got my bike back with a new basebar install, and noticed all these paint chips, etc. Curious what you guys use to touch up, or don't bother at all.

I've read every year might correspond to a make, year model of an automobile and to just get paint pens. Someone mentioned nail polish.

Any other thoughts/ Red, black white for a 2011 Cervelo P2, and same colors of a 3T Ventus I.

I have a glossy, black aluminum Trek and I've touched it up a few times with touch up paint (nailpolish style bottle) from my Saturn. It looks great to me.

I don't know anything about painting on a carbon frame with regard to primer.

If the chip is beyond the clear coat, I just use a clear nail polish so it doesn't "rust" (I have aluminum bike) or get worse. I would imagine black and white would match up well, but don't think the red would.

I was told aluminum doesn't rust, only steel. Still a clear coat would be good to protect it some more.
