There are no conundrums - just people who refuse to accept that they may be wrong, people who refuse to admit someone else has a good idea, people who refuse to accept that facts are facts no matter what PRO, MOPer or BOPer tries to convince otherwise.
Quite simply:
- There is a god. (problem is the devil started religeons)
- Weights used for strength training serve no purpose for improving traithlon performance.
- PC's are not bad - they are just not as good as some people say they are, and will not change cycling as we know it.
- USAT - Bad people involved in what could be a good organisation.
- Medicine is bad.
- France is good, most french are good, some ruin it for everyon else, by and large USA is the worst Country in the World - ruining more peoples live world wide then any other country (England comes close)
- Team in Training - sorry no nothing about it.
- Campy/Shimano - no difference - until one company starts to produce legs.
- Who cares about Lance Armstrong - not me, he is just the captain of the best cycling team put together. Really does anyone take "the greatest show on wheels" seriously?
- Drafting rules are not working.
- 700c is faster for all except those that need 650c to get proper bike fit.
- Cervelo make some good bikes - but like campy/shimano - until their bikes come with free legs then there is no difference between them and other frames.
- US Postal v Ulrich this year - well who cares.
- Bottle on frame or in front.
- The right bike is the one with the two round wheels.
- IMNA - who cares about Ironman?
- Headsets are at discretion of manufacturers ease and no bearing on performance
- The right gearing is always best.
- Tubulars are better and are not hard to change.
- Real world is science because if it is true it is true - a fact is a fact no matter in the lab or the field.
- Macca is a go hard man - who cares if he speaks the truth and his feelings.
- Bush??? What you need to ask that question? WORSE THAN BAD.
- Posers (most triathletes are posers)
- Deboom - 2 Hawaii victories.
- Mr. Tibbs? Talks about himself in third person - so ????
- War for oil is bad.
- Atkins diet not only bad for athletes - just down right dangerous for any human. (not bad for a dog or tiger though.)
- Kona is not a real WC - who care though it is an IM
- Race to your own hearts content.
- Caffeine bad and only losers use it: you use - you lose.
The real conundrum: Why do some folks stare at the truth and claim to see something different to everyone else????
