Watching IronmanLive:
The lead shrinks: At the airport Potts' lead is now down to 11 seconds over Bocherer and 29 seconds over Chris Lieto. Now the pack of men chasing behind are 35 seconds behind.
Lieto looking to lay down the bike split???? Can he hold onto the run in the heat???

From being a tri geek I know who the pros are from their uniforms, thus waiting about a minute until the announcers realize is abit annoying

As a Tri geek who has been racing IM since 99, and as an RD....I could not tell you who won most of my over a dozen IM races I have been in. I can only name pros I know first hand - these include folks like Blake Becker, Zach Ruble, Chris McDonald, Lauren Jensen, Heather Haviland and some others....other than that, I could be face to face with Simon Lessing and have no idea who he is, in uniform or not.
I can tell you that I will know Dick Hoyt ten times out of ten...as long as Rick is with him.
They are doing the best they can with thousands of people, and year after year of people.

Anyone catch this?
"The word is that Henning might have accidentally left his swim skin on out of T1."
WTF???? And what do you do if you are 20k down the road and you realize this? Dump it knowing you might get a penalty?

Between that update and the next top 10 list, Potts disappeared? Is this correct? 71 seconds in one update?

Lead group of men is huge so far. The camera just rode through them, and must be about 25 guys, but appears that all are at 10m plus. Pete Jacobs made a move to the front, and now they say Maik is about 1 minute back of the group. He had 2nd fastest bike split last year, so when he catches up it should help thin the herd. Now Ben Hoffman is making a move to the front, Crowie looks good and relaxed..
Wonder if Potts is think about the $5k prime just up the road??

They seem confused on who is leading, but it still must be Potts, Diebens just took the lead from Joyce. Miranda is really doing well for this point in the race, she had a great swim, and her position looks a lot better than last year..

Sounds like they just caught Potts, and a couple are trying to make a break, one of them Leito they say. Rasmus is having a troubled day it sounds like, MIA so far.

That is my thought too but I would be worried about overheating. What a major PITA.
if it holds true, that is a major rookie mistake by an experienced contender.

Love it, Huddle bashing all the AG'ers wearing their compression socks. A large group was just mounting and it looked like most of them had on their socks..Then Lisa trying to justify them...

The New Specialized Wind Tunnel
Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
Yes, Game Changer
