The Dimond Marquise
New dimond being announced today.

Found the web page. Curious to hear more about the ice chest. Custom paint (from template) and build customization at no extra charge

$7k for a frame/low end bar though puts it out of my reach. But I'm sure some will be interested

edit: It has changed $7.5 for frame and aduro bar

Some nice additions:

Certainly under the radar. Looks very clean and well integrated. This could move to top of my list for new bikes.

Would like to hear and see more regarding:

1). "Ice-Chest"

2). "Lunch-Box"

3). "Totes = tool box"

4). Custom paint included is a nice gesture given the price tag.

At least the price has effectively dropped from the 'brilliant' simply by the fact that they are including a carbon bar setup this time.
Still probably above my budget, but nice looking!

Way better looking than the P5X and lighter I presume.

You are on a roll sniffing out these links. The frame and Race build are priced such that it makes very little sense to buy the frame. The Race build price point seems competitive for what you get. Throw the no charge limited custom paint on there and even better.

Did he steal/copy Rob Gray's paint job?

Does this tempt you to jump off the Cervelo bandwagon?

It's easy as IT guys aren't smart enough to create a temporary random url while they build out the site. They always keep the same structure and path, I just play around with the last backslash area until I find it. This one was really easy once I saw the front page article of pictures.

clearly! He's going to have people coming up to him and saying "Hi Rob" (that happens a lot to me, and not because they recognize ME!)

I'll just have to take my next Dimond up a level or 2...

The $7599 frameset comes with the 3T Aduro bar though?

It's not IT guys (I am IT). It's the designers. We run the web server. We don't do anything with the content of that web server.

Anyway, proper way to do this is to build the new content on a staging or dev site inaccessible to the public, test if there when finished, and then publish the changes to the live site. Doesn't even cost anything extra. The same web server can be used for both. All it takes is will and know-how.

Ah, looks like the 6999 price I saw earlier wasn't a fully updated webpage? Now the price for the frameset is 7599? Or maybe the 6999 was with the cheaper profile bar and they've updated the price and changed it to the aduro..

7600 US for a module....ugghh...

They must of just updated the frame option with the Aduro bar.
I am seriously considering this bike. I am waiting to see the price for the new BMC frameset first (CAD$)....but the Dimond has really pricked me ear ups. Its a cool looking bike, heaps better the P5X (IMO).

Does anyone know how you go about purchasing a Dimond whilst living in Vancouver? As there is no dealer listed in B.C, is the the only option straight from their website?
