We have reached capacity with well over 400 guests. So please do not RSVP anymore.

This is the 2012 Kona Slowtwitch gathering thread, and we have set the date for Wednesday, October 10th from 4pm to 7pm. The folks from Cytomax / Muscle Milk have again kindly offered their beautiful ocean front home for this annual gathering and we greatly appreciate it. In addition to Cytomax, blueseventy (our longest gathering supporter) have again also offered assistance with the coolest gathering event in Kona. Kona Brewing will also support the event and that means we will have some cool other refreshments. Specialized now stepped up as a transportation partner and they will supply several triathlon style bike racks, so those arriving with pedal power will have a place to rest the hard working mules.

We'll also have raffle prizes this year and just as in 2011 we will make sure that the raffle will be short and sweet. Companies and brands interested in participating in the raffle need to either PM me or post an email to me, please do not post "potential raffle items" in this thread.

When there is number in brackets that means more than one of these items is offered, but not to one winner.

Here is the Slowtwitch gathering thread from 2011 and as you can see we had to shut down registration for the gathering as we got closer to October. Quite a few folks though who had registered ended up not showing up, and that caused some other folks not to get in. So please only register with your entourage if you are somewhat certain that you will be able to make it. Thanks for your consideration here.

Along those lines we just had the biggest Kona roll call thread ever with 14,000 views and over 200 posts. That should promise an interesting gathering.

Please share car rides, or ride, walk to the gathering as much as possible. We do not want to create a parking nightmare / nuisance. Plus as we mentioned above, there will be bike racks.

Herbert, put me down for 1, although there is a half decent chance that I might be trying to get to the Mauna Kea summit at this exact time slot if logistics, support crew, legs and weather cooperate.
