Tall guy - fit advice
Long time reader, first time poster here.

I am 6'4" and ride an XL shiv. It feels comfortable but I am interested to hear people's thoughts on how I can further optimise my fit.

I was fitted by a professional and my fit coordinates are:
Stack Pad y 735
Reach Pad x 421

I am interested to optimise my fit to increase power. Here is a picture of me on the shiv.

Cheers,

Bedfordvan

You don't trust your fitter?

Find another one.

As part of your fit, did your fitter have you try different length crank arms? :)

That 250KB attachment size limit makes it hard to upload a video. So I have uploaded a pic instead.

Hey Dave, thanks for the reply. No the fitter didn't explore different crank lengths. I am currently using 175mm.

You could go a lot lower and forward, but you won't be able to do it on that bike or within UCI rules if you want to TT.

You have a good starting point to use until you figure out for yourself where you need to be.
Your biggest problems will be finding a frame to fit or trying to dodge UCI rules if they apply to you.

A real fitter would have tools to try different crank lengths for us tall folk
