Taking Computrainer abroad
I'm moving abroad (Chile) and am wondering whether to take or leave a bunch of electronics behind.

My Computrainer specifically. I've heard some electronics will not work properly or overheat due to the 220V even with a converter. Can anyone enlighten me or should I sell it and buy a something newer specific to the country? Hoping to avoid spending any more money on this move than I already am.

I have a computrainer with the 220V plug and I just moved back to the US. I'll trade power sources with you if you like because I need the 110V one. I had no problem using the computrainer overseas with the 220V power source (in Romania and Kazakhstan).

So is it as simple as replacing the cable that plugs to the wall? If so, I don't move until July so I'd be up for the trade if you can wait that long.
