I am finally changing my cockpit set up from STI. Has anyone tried both Syntace and Profile levers? Dan seemed to like both in his write up.

I really like the Syntace Space Control levers. I use them with a Syntace Stratos base bar and Cane Creek BRS200Sl calipers and they work great.

I just replaced my whole bar and brake lever set up. I got a good deal Cinelli Angel bars and elected to replace the Profile Levels I had my pursuit bars with IRC Cyclocross levels. I like these levers for two reasons; first, they are lighter and second, the spring return make the rear brake level quiet. If the cable and brake are not perfectly maintained the Profile lever will start making a rattle.

IMHO I will not run a single piece of Profile gear. Every piece of Profile that I've ever had has failed...some dramaticly. I've never had a problem with Syntace. eric
