Switching wheels, road to tri?
Wondering if I'm over thinking this. Can I pull my wheels off my road bike and throw them on my tri bike? Wheels on my road bike are mavics with a 10 speed SRAM 11-25 cassette, I think. Chain on my tri bike is 10 speed. Currently my tri bike is set up for the trainer with old crappy tires. Road bike tires are ready for outside. Guess I'm just being lazy and don't want to change the tires on the tri bike so I can begin using it outside. Also, I'd like to be able to switch out the back wheel in case I need to ride on the trainer.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem. I do it all the time. You may need to adjust the rear dérailleur a bit though. Pretty simple.

May not even need to adjust the RD if the tri bike has friction shifters.
