Bought a new Blue Triad Elite bike. Comes with an aero front brake cover. The stem spacers extend out over the front brake cover. Is there any aero difference if I use whatever stem spacers I need and keep the elbow pads low on the aerobar or would I be better off keeping the stem slammed and using the aerobar riser kit?

Re: Stem spacers or aerobar risers [mattr]

I would say test it, but if I had to guess, I’d say keep the stem in line with the bento box and use risers. That’s based on the way the UKSI bikes are set up, keeping The base bar away from the arms and extensions.

I agree with SK. Risers. I vaquely remember a test on this from 3-5 years ago but can't find it.
