If Cadel and Andy are both exhausted, I think it favors Cadel.
More to the point, Cadel is a much better time trialist.
Most important, Cadel was clawing back major time towards the end of the climb, while Andy was falling apart a bit.
I think without more time for Andy tomorrow, Cadel wins the tour.

~70 riders came in 2 minutes after the cut-off. Cav was in there. The Commisaires/Jury are considering the conditions and deliberating... looks like Cav could be buying drinkgs for the grupetto tonight.

where you watching the race we were - Cadel had 3 other riders still with him at the end, he had a big group still with him with 4 to go.
He certainly rode well, but he just hasn't got the ability to destroy people.
I hope he wins. I think he's one of the few clean riders of the last decade.

Tomorrow is going to be huge - Schlecky's still need to attack to get more time, TV needs to hold on and Cuddles knows he has to respond to every move as there will be nobody to help him chase later. Maybe AC will have a steak dinner tonight and go for broke tomorrow if he can get 2-3mins back he might be in for a shot again with the TT. If I was Cuddles I would take a page out of Macca's book and try to form an alliance with the other teams against the Schlecky's for tomorrow. He burnt alot of matches today he's going to need all the help he can get!

Taking a group of ~20-30 down to 4 and riding AC off his wheel = destruction.

If, I'm Frank Schleck, I'm HOPING AC attacks. He can ride his wheels and really put the hurt on Evans.

I don't understand why everybody seems to be dismissing TV for the overall. He's in the shape of his life (for whatever reason..), he has outclimbed Contador ans stayed with Evans. If he does the same thing tomorrow, he has a great chance of staying within 1'12'' of Evans saturday. I don't care how bad the old TV used to be at time trialing, the new TV has nothing to do with the old one (kind of like Lance pre and post cancer).
Awesome ride by Andy but seriously, TV outclimbing Contador in the Alps ?????? Nobody would have taken a 100 to 1 bet on this one.

I've been saying for a couple of days that TV could win, actually. I think if it's really punchy it won't favor him, but he has done a helluva ride this Tour. In some ways, the overall performance of the Tour.
Expect huge salary bump and never-repeated performances, like....Wiggo.

Voeckler will easily loose 2-3 mins to Evans in the TT.
He'll loose at least another minute to FrAndy tomorrow.
TV will have to ride the TT of his life to stay in the top 3-5.

Ok here is how tomorow goes down:
Contador will try to pull a Flandis but it won't work as team leopard is too strong and motivated.
Leopard goes all out with the team as long as they can and Frank attacks. Maybe on the 2nd to last climb, maybe the last.
Cadel has to chase again. Voeckler stays in yellow.

In early June, on the same course as stage 20 iTT, Evans beat TV by 1:58. Just a reference point, I know, I know, riding in the yellow gives you great powers, etc.. Add to that, it's likely that TV will lose more time to someone in GC, and the likelyhood of him staying in yellow is still a long shot. Of course it's been said that he wouldnt have lasted in yellow past what last Friday's stage, so right now he's riding with house money.
