Yesterday I brought my new Speed Concept 7.5 to the LBS for its 30 day checkup and to swap the medium near stem for the low near stem. I went to pick up the bike and as I rolled it out the door I noticed the the bars were hard to turn and and clicked. I immediately brought it back in and told them it wasn't right. I was actually pretty irritated that any mechanic would send it out like that. I called later and the same mechanic said he screwed up the cabling and had to re-cable the whole bike. I have no confidence in this mechanic now. Hopefully its right when I pick it up.
My question to the experts out there (I miss Carl already) is if I want to change the mono spacer to raise it up some (to lessen the stack change due to the stem swap) should this cause a problem with the cabling? If the mechanic does it right would that cause an issue?
Thanks for any help or advise!
