I'd like to solicit the input of any snowshoeing Slowtwitchers. I know that the major players make models that are designed (more narrow) for "running." Do any of you have experience and/or recommendations with particular models/makers?

My usage would be predominantly running/trotting/quick-slogging through the backcountry.
