Skora - Call it a comeback?
I received this email today ...

Dear SKORA Fans,
As you're probably aware, we’ve been pretty quiet these last 8 months, without shoes, and that has left many of you wondering what’s going on.
For the past year I’ve been looking for the right investor and partner. I’m excited to share that a few months ago, SKORA was acquired by a NYC company that is committed to the success and growth of the SKORA brand.
I'm writing to let you know what you can expect as we prepare for a relaunch.
First, we’re working on restocking our most popular styles that you’ve come to love. We anticipate new stock in fresh colors available in late September, just in time for your Fall racing season.
But second, and most importantly…
SKORA is about to offer a whole lot more awesomeness.
As part of our planned 2018 relaunch, we'll have for you an all new running and fitness footwear collection, along with a few other surprises. Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing sneak peeks on our progress over the coming months!
Thank you for your support and ongoing patience. Since launching in 2012, our goal was to craft premium footwear to help you find your natural stride. We are continuing on our heritage to design products that help you Run Real.
We know many of you love our products and eagerly await the chance to get a fresh pair. They’re coming. We're just getting started. I think you're going to enjoy what's in store.

Guess that'll be the end of my AUS$49 Skora Base then. Great running shoe.

Last year about this time I had to wait on them to restock before I got my new pair. I sure hope they stick with their design because these are my favorite running shoes. It's the only company I've found that makes a truly wide toe box, zero drop, AND ample padding for road training (in a shoe that I think actually looks good.)
