What saddle do you use now? Was the Sitero comfortable? I'm currently testing an ISM pn 1.1 but am curious about the sitero
In order of when purchased I have used:
Cobb Max / Cobb V Flow+
I preferred the V Flow. The max was a bit too big, both rubbed my left thigh a bit.
Adamo Podium / Adamo Attack (?) / Adamo Prologue
Preferred the prologue but did not like the Prologue either. The other two were horrific.
Bontrager HiLo RXL
The adjustable one, went fully wide and then dialled it back a touch. That was ok. I felt the padding was too squishy after a while and would collapse a bit by the end of a ride so the channel was not much of a channel any more. This was probably my favourite before, despite not being amazing.
Fizik Tritone
After I got used to hanging off the front it was ok. Probably as 'ok' as the Bontrager but very different. I always felt a little like I was falling off a bit. A common complaint.
Specialized Power
Just took this off today. Def not an 'on the nose' saddle, for me anyway. Some people on ST liked it so I tried it. The nose was too hard and skinny. Ncie on hills but then it's not supposed to be a tri saddle so a bit unfair to say it was poor. I might re-visit it for a road bike.
I took the Power off about 10am this morning. Threw on the Sitero (the Gel Expert, only about $150). Literally zero adjustments and it is probably the best saddle I have ever been on. I did a 2 hour ride with a couple of half hour Z3/4. I actually feel my sit bones supported on the saddle, which I haven't really before. It is also forgiving in the 'where you sit' department too. I can move around and find a few comfortable places to choose from. Feels good off the front, further back, sitting up, climbing.
I know that it's probably just something nice about the way it works with my anatomy but I was very pleased to have finally found something that is not just ok.I don't care how much a saddle costs, i spend too long on it to worry about that BUT it was on the lowish end of the price spectrum too. And it looks great, which is a bonus.
Hope that helps.
