Shimano bar end shifter options?
Hello,

I'm a bit confused on what bar end shifters I can use with my shimano dura ace drive train. I'm looking for an "aero" shifter similar to the SRAM R2C shifters. Are the only ones that are available for shimano drive trains the zipp vuka aero shifters? Will the SRAM 900 TT work with a shimano drive train? Just curious if I can go that way or if I should just stick with the DA bar ends. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

You either need dura ace shifters or zipp's shimano models. Sram won't work.

They use the same spacing but not the same cable throw.

Everything I'm reading says the Zipp ones are shimano compatible and the SRAM Red are not shimano compatible.

Perhaps they have changed?

um no they don't?

the exact pull ratios are slightly different....at stock configurations they don't work that well.
With a bit of tweaking and modification they can work but its eh
