Has anyone done this and if so what does it look like and do you need to clear coat it after.

It is a pain in the ass but maybe I was not patient enough to finish. When I got to the joints, there was too much filler (bondo), I was going to do the same paint job that I did on my SLC where I leave the carbon bare on the main tubes and then just paint the joints which was a nice look on my SLC and I thought about matching the bikes up but in the end it was less expensive to go with the satin black paint with gloss black lettering.
