SRAM Force 2x10 to 2x11 Upgrade question: Crank
Quote | Reply
My right road shifter bit the dust on a ride this past weekend, and seeing the costs of brifters got me thinking about an upgrade from 2x10 to 2x11. My Cervelo R3 is equipped with Sram Force 2x10 with lots of mileage, but a newer Rotor 52/36 crank. I'm seeing some good pricing on groupset upgrades to Force 2x11, which would give me now the opportunity to go to a medium-sized rear derailleur 11-32 tooth cassette option and wifli FD. The groupset has the twin brifters, FD, RD, Cassette and chain. Wheels are already 10/11 speed conversions. Brakes are 2011 Force version.

Are these Force 11 chain & components compatible with the Rotor crank/chainrings?
Any change in cable pull between 10 to 11 that might impact original brakes?

The beauty of SRAM is the 10 to 11 speed conversion is chain, cassette, and shifters.
