Hi, 8 years in the sport and just heard of this race and seems awesome. Are there any others like it? I would like to do this year, but already sold out and really hard to get in with only 150 spots.

Nice setup, basically a swim run with some 'tough' uphill biking as a warm up
Race looks great and something complete different, first of its kind

I did it in 2015-great race, awesome production. Everything from the pre race meeting the night before to the post finish banquet is first in class. I really got a kick out of being able to see the finish line-the man in the mountain-from the start down at the fair grounds. I can't think of any other point to point that has that geography. The course is very scenic. I am sure I will do it again.
I've done it twice and it's absolutely amazing. I would equate it to the 70.3 version of Norseman, cross-bred with an Otillo swim-run. I don't know of others like it, but I sure wish they all were.
