The short answer is yes but then you have to throw in all the many variables...How experienced an Ultra-runner are you?If you have a long history of Ultras and you are a strong runner then you really shouldn't have that much a of a problem backing up endurance wise but it also depends on the two courses....If you are planning to do say Western Sates or some other hilly course which involves quad pounding downhills and tricky trails then your legs may be way more trashed than if you were to do a multi loop flat course. That would most definately affect your Ironman....but...If the Ironman you are doing after your Ultra is a flat one like AZ or FL then you may well be able to fake it on an "easy" bike course by finding that sweet spot where you can tolerate a constant pain for the duration...In a scenario like that, your Ironman run would be just like doing another Ultra, 7 weeks from you 100 miler.
So,a hard hilly100 miler followed by an Ironman where you have a hard hilly bike is going to be a stretch...
An easier, flat 100 miler followed by an Ironman where you have a hard hilly bike is going to be "slightly" better...
Any 100 miler for an experinced Ultra runner followed by a flat Iroman ride is doable...No worries.
All this with the assumption that you do actually know how to swim 2.4mile easily and can ride a bike for 112 miles as a warm up to your weekly long run.....;-)
Pick your courses carefully!

Deca iron 1-10th (he won, I came second)
2 weeks later - IM
1 week after that - IM (10:48)
2 weeks after than offroad Xtri IM event

Thanks for the welcome :O) - as for legend... I don't see it myself. 1 Deca, 1 Quin, 2 Doubles, 10 IM and a bunch of ultra runs?
Triple Deca is definitely not on my radar (lack of support crew for 30 days, cost of entry, loss of earnings as i am self employed) , although I fancy another Deca. So it could be Sicily or Mexico in 2013/14. It would be interesting to compare them to the Avon Tyrrell course - personally I love the AT course.
anyhow back OT. 100 mile hilly run .7 weeks. IM. There are some AT 100 mile people (although one DNF'ed at 87 miles with shin splints) and did a reasonable IM just 5 weeks later and one who did the full 100 and is doing a very hilly IM next weekend (The Big Woody) just 8 weeks later.
Personally I would make one of the 100 the "A" race and gun it. Take a week off to recover then hit the pool and the bike for 5 weeks and tick over on the run. Week off before the IM and go for it in the first half of the bike and see whats in the tank and revise your plans from there.
