I just got a Pioneer power meter & learned I need to calibrate it before each ride. When i calibrate it with both my 920xt & Edge 510 the offset number is 11,985 consistently. The torque is 0.00-0.03%. I assume the torque is fine, but is that high offset number normal?

I don't think it matters what the number is, as long as its always fairly close each time you calibrate it.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, what does the offset number represent? Google is remarkably void of any real answers about it.
Was going to write my guesses up, but when I went to wikipedia to figure out the right term for something, I found this! http://en.wikipedia.org/...ors_and_compensation
