Places to stay in mont tremblant

Looks like the hotels in the village are all booked. I've searched here for feedback and a lot of people said if you don't stay in the village parking and getting to the start is a huge pain in the ass for athletes and spectators. Is it really that bad? Any suggestions for condos or houses

From what I can see on line someone from LP must have told everyone with rentals how easy it is triple the price and impose 1 week minimums for IM week.

Montana?

Does it take that long to spell it out?

I think you are talking about Mont Tremblant? You might get more responses if you change the title. You can just stay up the hill in the condos there and have no problem with access.

Stayed here last year http://www.chateaubeauvallon.com/ . Great location and offer shuttle to the village on race day and all other days we stayed before and after the race. nice pool and hot tub...zero complaints about it. Right on the bike course also.

I just checked the Tremblant website - looks like there is still lots of availability for the 140.6 in August. Is that what you are looking to find accommodations for?

I've stayed at what is now the Holiday Inn & Suites (has changed names a few times over the past several years) three times, and loved it for each of the races I've done. They also have a great continental breakfast and open at 4 AM on race day.

I stayed at the Tour de Voyageur in the Village. My balcony overlooked the finish line. Great for my wife and 3 small kids(age 6,4,3) on a long race day. If you stay outside the village, there is parking near the swim start but you need to be early. There are also shuttle buses to other lots.

I stayed in the village in the condos of "le sommet des neiges" for 70.3 worlds. I was very pleased with the condo, the location and the service. Would definitely stay there again if racing again mont tremblant.
