Interesting that it doesn't appear to be photoshopped:

Whereas the P4 is/was ugly, this is far more a thing of beauty. So no hydraulics. Smooth. Integrated water bottle is gone. Odd mounting for the handlebars. Or rather a long mount.

I really don't get you guys sometimes. Its almost an identical bike minus the waterbottle. They have just extended some of the areas on the bike. Its not like this is some drastic departure from what the p4 looked like.

This is why it's never a good thing to just open your mouth up on the internet. That's one of Cervelo's Marketing Managers. She lives around the corner from me. We're neighbors. Shall I apologize on your behalf, for your complete, and total lack of tact, sensitivity and respect, or are you man enough to come out and do it yourself!

Never been a big Cervelo fan, mostly b/c everyone seems to have one, but that looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to see some better pictures

I'm not dispointed. It looks like every other cervelo bike that has been released. Simplistic, and just an iteration further then what has occured before. Its going to be really hard to build a bike that is just shocking based on how they design stuff. I'm sure they can build one that is shocking and fast but its not surprising that this isnt it.

I'll just wait till march of 2013 when people have overstock and get one for stupidly cheap like the p4. Or on ebay once a bunch of rich guys buy them and figure out they don't fit on it well.

Plasma Premium front triangle molded to the rear of a P4. From what I can see this looks UCI "legal." Wonder what will be different on the non-UCI frame.

So that IS likely a real leaked photo of the P5 then?

Cool - now if they would keep their prices in line with the way the S5 was priced.

Looks pretty straightforward, and fast
  1. Extended headtube (< 3:1 chord, not UCI compliant)
  2. Longer extended top tube/seat tube
  3. Sans bottle
  4. Higher downtube bottle mount
  5. OS BB

Thanks the bikes are stupidly expensive anyways. No need to make them more expensive when the exact same thing happens every year, they go to closeout and people dump them on ebay. Its the ebb and flow of the tri market :)

You're reaching that assumption based on that picture?

Given she is wearing a "P5 simply faster" shirt I think that was a bigger give away
