Nice music in that video. Hah!

That stand looks pretty cool but does it actually work with the funky bbright bottom bracket and plastic cover on the p5?

this one works great and is available at REI:

I've used it with a p5, p3, s5, p2, litespeed aero bike, and round tubes too!

What do you clamp on to? Top tube?

I am looking to get a workstand and leaning towards the Feedback Sports Ulta Light WorkStand or the Sports Mechanic, but the Clamp has an max opening of 1.9inches and the seat post of the Cervelo P5-6 is 2.5 inches. Do have any recommendation that has a clamp opening that will fit the P5-6 seatpost?

I've got the Feedback Sports Sport-Mechanic workstand. The only thing that I don't like is not being able to clamp along the wide axis of the P5/S5/P3 seatpost. So, you end up not getting it really clamped or using the top tube, which I don't like.

If I were picking now, I'd probably go with the Park Home Mechanic Bike Stand as it looks like the clamp is a bit more flexible and would let you clamp the wider axis of the seatpost.

+1 again. I've got Team Race like this and a clamp stand -- the Team Race is far better.

It's more personal preference. I don't like clamping by the top tube.

But, on the new P5s I don't like the tube shapes for top tube clamping with that stand in particular. The new P2/3 might be better, but again personal preference.

I have the http://www.parktool.com/...-repair-stand-pcs-10

and the new style clamp that comes with it clamps fine on the P5 seat post, it even has cut outs to hold aero shaped tubes in the clamp.

I'll second that, fits great in the car for races. Fits any bike fine, top tube or seat tube clamping options.

I've had a PRS-25 for some years. One of the better clamps Park's made and fits just about any shape you can think of. Like most of the portable stands similar in design, it's not like working on a shop stand but is light and pretty well made.

I have heard, but I cant remember where..... that clamping to the top tube of carbon bikes is not advised. Is that why you dont like clamping to the top tube? I am trying to decided what is better to clamp to the seat post/top tube or the using the drop outs to secure. Any other opinions out there?
