Few weeks back i received my Powertap P1S (single sided) and quickly installed for my first ride.

Not too long into my ride i received an alert "power sensor error" which i had to click on screen to get out of. This continued to happen multiple times (20+) on a hour and a half ride. However, when i checked the data there doesn't seem to be any power drops and data continues to track even though the alert pops up.

I contacted PT who advised that this is an issue due to garmin unit being programmed to connect with Garmin Vector pedals which ae right pedal master, which then creates an error with left pedal P1S. According to PT customer service this is an issue with just Garmin with no solution and I'd need to keep clicking on screen to acknowledge the error every time which does become bothersome.

Anyone out there with P1S single sided and garmin units and no issues? I'd like to confirm before having to look into another brand.
