I have an old pair of Conti GP4000S tires. I was wondering how the stack up in the Crr and Aero characteristics to the newer tires that are out there like the Vittoria Corsa Speed TLR, Conti GP4000SII, and the Conti SS etc.

If you have the packaging and they say Black Chili somewhere on them, then they're pretty close to the 4000S2s. Otherwise, they were decent for their time, but nothing special. But, they're so old (and so am I) that I've forgotten the details.

Yeah don't have the packaging, sadly. I will have to see what I can dig up.

They've used Black Chili for quite a while and it may not be all that was dialed during ongoing production changes. If your tire was made in the later 2000's or later then it is probably of the most recent vintage for that model.
