Nutrition During Marathon Build
I'm a retired triathlete turned pure runner focusing on the Chicago Marathon as my A race. I would ask this question in the Letsrun forum but that forum scares me way more than slowtwitch...

I am running 80-100 mile weeks leading up to Chicago and am trying to make all the little changes so I have no regrets. One of the areas I have room for improvement is my diet. I typically eat a lot crap. Over the next couple of weeks I am going to focus on eating non-processed nutrient dense food. But what type of carb/protein/fat ratio should be I be targeting? I'm not looking to lose weight (2-3 pounds would be fine but much more than that would be too much). Should my focus change on a daily basis depending on the workout I have ahead of me? Thanks for any help.

Oh, I'm a female if that changes any of the advice.

And yes, I've googled this and done online research but everything is pretty beginner based and very general like "eat nutrient dense food."
