Hi all,

Long time lurker, and feel this is an odd topic to start engaging with here, but saw this product mentioned in the latest 220 triathlon - does anyone have any opinion?

While this post seems a little spammy ----- here's my feedback: this is un necessary.

The reason being, I usually like to tuck my race number into my shorts on the bike. This would seem to prevent that from happening.

Want: 58cm Cervelo Soloist. PM me if you have one to sell

I agree, unnecessary and way over engineered. I doubt I would use one if it was gifted to me.
  • Velcro seems very apt to your number getting lost during the stripping of a wetsuit.
  • The holder for the number looks much more bulky and much less flexible than a normal race number. I could see this being a nightmare on the run.
  • Is it that much of a hassle to spin the belt around when you switch to the run? I think it would be way less effort than removing and re-sticking the number.
  • Sizes for a bib belt? No adjustability at all? I can imagine (especially buying online) that getting the right size would be difficult. I personally like my bib belt just tight enough that it doesn't jostle around. Even if I did get the right fit if the elastic wore out a bit it would no longer work for me.
Just get a normal one. If you don't like the flapping in the wind tuck it in or put it on as you go through T2.
