I know in general, over here on ST, we're not fans of the team run by Vino, but I thought this was a nice gesture by the team to the fans and family of Scarponi who died in a training accident last week

It's a bit of a big deal to go into a 3 week tour intentionally shorthanded. They could have carried his bike on the team car all the way through Italy, but are only fielding an 8 man team.
