Interesting that FVL is no longer using Ekoi.

Looks like their design goals didn't focus on reducing frontal area. Looks more like a very wide Aerohead.

Yeah. I could see a scenario where the head is in line or lower than the shoulders and a wide helmet-visit is a very effective solution, but that doesn't help anyone whose head is the highest point of their position.

Reminds me of their wasp, at least I think it's the wasp. I've played with too many damn helmets to keep them all straight

I'll see if I can get one for an update to my original review. When I finished that piece, the team at MET said that the criticisms I raised were not unique and that they were working to address them in an update, which I presume is this helmet.

yeah, when you see it with the other paint on the bike radar site it looks almost identical.

Here it has more of a giro or cervelo paint scheme

Is that lens browkind of blocking his eyes? or should the helmet be worn tipped back a bit more so that the tail is closer to his shoulders and he can see more?

I think he was using a Met at Kona last October already.

His position with the Ekoi was not a sight to behold. It hurts my eyes to look at pictures of Kona 2013 ... although, who can argue against a winner?

Edit: actually, the pic is from 2014 (bib no. 1)

Except the for the way the visor attaches to the helmet, I don't see any difference compared to the existing Drone WB helmet?
