Need a new GPS watch that has these features......

Wrist Based HR Monitor
Shows on screen current HR and Average HR for the run
and if it can calculate elevation loss and gain (that would be a bonus)

Thanks

I have a 735XT, but the HR monitor is a complete waste for exercise - horribly inconsistent. I think that there aren't any wrist based monitors that are as reliable as a simple chest strap.

Any of the models that offer wrist based HR can handle your HR requirements, however, you'd want a barometer for the elevation piece. In that case you're looking at the 935, Felix 5 or any of the vivo watches.

Wrist HR monitors seem to work great for some people and not at all for others. I've had really good luck with my 735xt, the times I've worn both it and my HR strap, it's tracked pretty true, but I don't do a lot of intervals, so it may fall down for that use. Of course, I'm a pretty pasty freckled guy, so I might be the best case scenario for optical HR monitors.

Wrist HR doesn't work well for me. I think a lot of it has to do with the snugness of the watch. I don't like it very tight. I sweat a lot and hate the feeling. I wear a Fenix 3 and a scosche rhythm + on my upper forearm.
