Where are you in NJ? I can recommend a couple shops if you are in South or Central NJ.....not familiar with North Jersey.

I've dealt with these shops and they know their stuff.....R&A Cycles, Brooklyn....Hart Cycles, Pennington (Ross Hart, owner), and Knapps Cycles, Ewing (Pete Garnich, owner). Most of my work has been done at Knapps. I have no idea about their experience though with the Zipp 2001. Suggest calling first to discuss what you need.

I believe that Steve is in Philadelphia, but could probably walk you through anything that you would want to do to that bike.

Pete from Knapps is awesome - he's done everything for all of my bikes. Super knowledgeable and great to talk to.

R&A Cycles declined to work on it. Hart didnt really say they had full experience working on the zipp. Knapps didnt reply to me.

Can definitely respect that answer.

Do you have pics of the bike? Always loved the Zipp 2001. If I may, what makes the 7 speed special?

No sure how close it is to you, but I've always had really good experiences with Knapp's:
